James & Whitney - April 22, 2017

Collage - Boykins.jpg

Our first barn wedding...WOW...it's was incredible. We had so much fun shooting this couple's wedding. Our personalities just clicked...we were made for one another :).

The day started off normal (with the details). We prefer to get the details early so we always plan for this in our Timeline (which, by the way, is probably one of the most important  things for us...it helps us know where to be and when to be there). When we arrived, Whitney and her girls were getting hair and make-up...that was our queue.

We took that time to get detail shots of the wedding gown, the bridesmaid's dresses, Whitney's jewelry, the rings, and other shots of both the ceremony and reception spaces.

Ashton (aka James) and his guys arrived around 3 and it was time for the "First Look." Tiffany and I LOVE "First Looks." Probably because we did a first look when we got married in 2010, but now as photographers--it just makes sense logistically. It really helps save time for Post-Ceremony Formals. Oh...and not to mention--they're just so darn cute ;).

  "shhhhhhhhhhhh..."

"shhhhhhhhhhhh..."

Everything went off without a hitch. The First Look was amazing, the Ceremony was beautiful, and the Reception was a party!!!! :). Congratulations to Whitney and Ashton on their marriage...we can't wait to shoot their 1-Year Anniversary pictures #wink :)
