Phillip & Brandi - April 8, 2017

Wow...I honestly get chill bumps every time I take a look at Phillip and Brandi's wedding photos. From the soft blush color tones, to her amazing dress, and his perfectly tailored suit - this wedding was one for the books.

Phillip and I [Mick] have known one another for YEARS. We met attending Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC in the early/mid 2000s. Who knew back then that he would end up marrying his beautiful wife Brandi and we would end up photographing it? We were pleased to be given the opportunity and we DID not want to dissappoint.

The day started off with detailed shots of the dress, rings, shoes, and jewelry. We didn't have that much time because we needed to get some shots of Phillip and his guys playing pool at the hotel--so we had to act fast. After the getting ready photos, Phillip and Brandi did their "First Look." I remember Phillip asking what I thought about doing a first look while we were in the planning phases. I told him that Tiffany and I did a first look and we absolutely LOVED it! It gave us a moment to spend time alone together, it gave the photographers more time to take photos of us that prevented them from having to take those pictures after the ceremony, and most importantly--it didn't take away the emotion I felt when Tiffany walked down the aisle. I highly recommended it.

Phillip and Brandi's First Look was very heartfelt and emotional. Tiffany could barely shoot because she was crying the whole time [joking Tiffany :)]. After the First Look, the ceremony began. Let me be the first to say, "I LOVE THE FOUNDATION AT THE CAROLINAS." The lighting in there was perfect. The venue--to die for. And the wedding designer, Designs by Devereux, LLC, did an awesome job with the decor. He really paid attention to what the bride and groom wanted and he delivered!

The Harpest was a first for us. The harp fit the tone of the ceremony. The sound of it was very soft and calming. It matched the venue and decor perfectly.

The reception was filled with laughter, dancing, and tears. Brandi's brother gave a heartfelt speech/toast that had everybody crying--even me ;). There was not one dry eye in the room. The rest of the reception was filled with congratulations from family and friends as they wished them well in their new life together.

We loved every second of their wedding day and we're incredibly excited to share their photos with you!
